5 signs that it's time to change jobs

If more and more often the thought arises whether to change jobs, it means that the time has come for reflection. We ask ourselves 3 simple questions and answer as detailed and honest as possible:

What does work give me?
What do I think at the beginning and at the end of the working day?
Does my work benefit anyone other than me?
By the way, we already wrote in detail about introspection before leaving - here.

If the answers are rather positive, we close the discussion on this. If rather negative, we continue to think.

Expert opinion. Yulia Baskakova, Head of the VTsIOM Social Modeling and Forecasting Practice:

If you don’t agree with the expert and want something more from the work, let's figure out what are the reasons for the change of work - a good enough argument for dismissal.

Stress and criticism
If stressful situations arise from time to time - this is normal. If you decide to quit after the boss called “to the carpet” - most likely, this is too hasty a decision. But if criticism becomes constant, if important tasks in the department are entrusted to other employees, perhaps it is better to change jobs.

Serious mistake
If the chef does not offer to write a letter of resignation, then this should not be done. The company believes that the damage caused by the error is not worth the money invested in employee training. We draw conclusions and continue to work.

Boredom and stagnation
If the work is tired, does not bring joy and causes yawning, there are no prospects - this is a serious reason to think about changing work.

Health
If work badly affects health - quit. No options.

Instability
In general, stability is difficult to find in the world today. Conditions are changing, requirements for an employee are changing, software is changing at the speed of light - this is the norm. But if salary stability, for example, becomes vitally important (you have to pay a loan, a child was born, a serious expense item has arisen) - it is better to change jobs.

We decided that you should not quit? Still, the time spent thinking is not in vain: now we know how to motivate ourselves after the next “I do not want to work”.

Have you decided to quit? A little more effort before writing a statement:
